Wood Flooring Design Tips
There are several ways to install Wood Floors (Wood Flooring) for your home or office space.
- Note the size of the space where Wood Floors (Wood Flooring) will be installed. If space is wide enough, then the basic floor structure needs to be strengthened. But according to John SL Chang, General Manager of PT Stya Langgeng Sentosa (Wood Flooring Specialist), size of room in the house including the small category, so do not need to be strengthened structure.
- For House Floor hard wood type, use the nail to strengthen the wood floor structure, although its use depends on the location.
- For wood house floor that is soft, sub-floor should be coated with other materials such as PE form. The function form is as flexible joint first and second floors, as an adjustment to prevent water from below is not directly absorbed into the wood floor (Flooring Specialist).
According to the type of wood, then there are two methods of installation.
a. Hardwood flooring
We recommend for this type of wood floor installation and design done before the building is completed. That’s because this type of wood floor needs work “extra”, which often causes the “working environment” to be dirty (Flooring Repair). Before the wood floor is installed, then the base must be given first and then polished putty, and to flatten the new connection should be given the floor protector (coating).
b. Softwood flooring
Unlike hardwood floors, wood floor installation and design of this type can be done at the end of the job. This is because of this type are generally ready (ready made), so that the grace period was not long installation and usage.
